RECREATIONAL PROGRAM

2025-2026 FULL SEASON

MAY 20, 2025 - Registration opens to the public

Our full season program runs for a TOTAL 35 WEEKS from September to June,

  • Term 1: September 6 to December 20, 2025
  • Term 2: January 5 to May 30, 2026
  • Recital Week: June 2-7, 2026

  • September 9, 2025 - Classes commence
  • October 13 - CLOSED Thanksgiving Monday
  • October 31 - CLOSED Halloween Friday
  • December 21 to January 4 - CLOSED Christmas/New Year’s break
  • February 16 - CLOSED Family Day Monday
  • March 15-22 - CLOSED March break
  • April 3-6 - CLOSED Friday-Monday
  • May 18 - CLOSED Victoria Day Monday
  • May 30 - Last day of classes
  • June 2-7, 2026 - Recital Week

Class Offerings (Grades 1-12)

Our Recreational program offers dance classes for students (Grades 1-12). The program runs from September through June and ends with a performance in our spectacular year end show!​

  • REC Mini Level (6-8yrs) - Ballet, Jazz, Tap, HipHop
  • REC Junior Level (9-11yrs) - Ballet, Jazz, Tap, HipHop, Lyrical
  • REC Teen Level (12yrs+) - Ballet, Jazz, Tap, HipHop, Lyrical

Cost Of Lessons

  • Administrative fee: $50 per family per year (DUE at time of registration. Non-refundable, non-transferable) * Add HST
  • 1 class per week: $580 per year ($58 per month * 10 equal payments from September 1 to June 1) * Add HST
  • 2 classes per week: $1.160 per year ($116 per month * 10 equal payments from September 1 to June 1) * Add HST
  • 3 classes per week: $1,580 per year ($158 per month * 10 equal payments from September 1 to June 1) * Add HST
  • 4 classes per week: $1,810 per year ($181 per month * 10 equal payments from September 1 to June 1) * Add HST
  • 5 classes per week: $2,010 per year ($201 per month * 10 equal payments from September 1 to June 1) * Add HST
  • REC FAMILY UNLIMITED Rate: $2,760 per year ($276 per month * 10 equal payments from September 1 to June 1) * Add HST

Tuition payment schedule is EQUAL BILLING * Full season 35 week year tuition divided into 10 equal installments from September 1 to June 1.

Year End Recital

At every lesson, students learn dance technique and other curriculum. Eventually, they start to rehearse a choreographed dance routine that they will perform in full costume at our spectacular year end show. Our recitals are professionally produced and are the highlight of the season for family, relatives, friends and audience members.

Class Dress Code

  • Ballet Girls - black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers.
  • Jazz - black leotard (or black bootie shorts & black top), tan tights, black jazz shoes.
  • Tap - black leotard (or black bootie shorts & black top), tan tights, black tap shoes (lace up).
  • HipHop - any dance/active wear (sweat pants, t-shirts...etc.), clean indoor gym shoes (NO outdoor shoes).
  • Lyrical - black leotard (or black bootie shorts & black top), tan tights, black jazz shoes.
  • Boys Ballet/Jazz/Tap - black athletic shorts, white t-shirt, black slippers (for ballet with white ankle socks), black jazz shoes (for jazz), black tap shoes (lace up for tap), hiphop (any dance/active wear, clean indoor gym shoes).

Entering grades in September 2025:

 

For REC MINI Level - Grades 1-2-3 (6-8yrs) - Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hiphop

 

For REC JUNIOR Level - Grades 4-5-6 (9-11yrs) - Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hiphop, Lyrical

 

For REC TEEN Level - Grades 7 & up (12yrs+) - Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hiphop, Lyrical

  • Sessions are prepaid at the beginning in full (No refunds for missed lessons - cost includes all weeks).
  • Attire - Barefeet, no tights
