Marquette Gymnastics & Cheer offers fun and exciting recreational summer programs!

1-Week Camp Offerings + Online Registration

PARENT & TOT GYMNASTICS

RECREATIONAL Program (2-4 yrs)

Focus on social skills, gross and fine motor skills, and bravery. This is a great way to bond and enjoy milestones with your little one. An adult will be required to participate with each child.

  • PARENT & TOT - Saturday 9:45-10:30am
  • $112 (total for all 6 weeks)

PRE-K GYMNASTICS

RECREATIONAL Program (4-5 yrs)

This class is a perfect introduction to the gymnastics world for children ages four to five. Kids will learn gross and fine motor skills, including safe landings, getting comfortable upside down, and building overall strength.

  • PRE-K (A) - Tuesday 4:10-4:55pm
  • PRE-K (B) - Saturday 11:30am-12:15pm
  • 120 (total for all 6 weeks)

PRESCHOOL ADVANCED GYMNASTICS

RECREATIONAL Program (3-5 yrs)

This class is by invite only, intended for preschool age gymnasts who have shown they are ready for more rigorous training. This class focuses on building the proper shape and strength for potential future team gymnasts.

  • PRESCHOOL ADVANCED - Saturday 10:30-11:25am
  • $120 (total for all 6 weeks)

BEGINNER LEVEL GYMNASTICS (6-7 yrs)

RECREATIONAL Program (6-7 yrs)

Beginner gymnastics will introduce school-age children to the basics and fundamentals of gymnastics. They will gain confidence in themselves, learn to work as a group, and develop listening skills.

  • BEGINNER (A) - Wednesday 4:10-5:05pm
  • BEGINNER (B) - Saturday 12:30-1:25pm
  • $120 (total for all 6 weeks)

BEGINNER LEVEL GYMNASTICS (8-10 yrs)

RECREATIONAL Program (8-10 yrs)

Beginner gymnastics will introduce school-age children to the basics and fundamentals of gymnastics. They will gain confidence in themselves, learn to work as a group, and develop listening skills.

Students will work on floor, vault, bar and beam. They will work on level 1 skills as defined by USA Gymnastics. Skills on floor will include handstands, cartwheels, backwards rolls (tucked), and split jumps. Skills on bar will include pullover, casts, back hip circles, and straddle ons. Skills on beam will include pike lying position, lever, stretch jump, and cartwheel to handstand. Vault skills will include stretch jumps and handstand fall to hollow body hold.

  • Beginner A - Wednesday 5:10-6:05pm
  • Beginner B - Wednesday 6:10-7:05pm
  • $120 (total for all 6 weeks)

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL GYMNASTICS

RECREATIONAL Program (6-10 yrs)

Intermediate gymnastics is the secondary level of school-age gymnastics. Gymnasts must pass an evaluation to be placed into this class. In this class, gymnasts will continue to learn skills equivalent to levels 2 and 3 in USA Gymnastics. They will gain strength, confidence, determination, and teamwork skills.

  • INTERMEDIATE (6-7 yrs) - Monday 4:30-6:00pm
  • INTERMEDIATE A (8-10 yrs) - Wednesday 7:10-8:40pm
  • INTERMEDIATE B (8-10 yrs) - Friday 6:00-7:30pm
  • $180 (total for all 6 weeks)

PRE-TEAM

RECREATIONAL Program

Pre-Team is a tryout based, 90 minute class/week in addition to a recreational gymnastics class, which will focus on building a solid foundation of basic skills and the mentality required of a competitive gymnast. Gymnasts will be divided into levels A, B, C, or D. A being the basic level, D being the more advanced. All gymnasts will learn a simple vault, bars, beam, and floor routine throughout the sessions and present it multiple fun meets throughout the session. The program is perfect for children who have found a love for gymnastics as a sport and wish to expand their skills in hopes of making it competitive one day. Strength and flexibility is a crucial part of this program.

  • PRE-TEAM - Friday 6:30-7:00pm
  • $180 (total for all 6 weeks)

RECREATIONAL SUMMER CAMP

1-WEEK CAMP, MONDAY-FRIDAY (DATE TBA)

Fun and high energy gymnastics training, as well as crafts, games, and team bonding. Week long camps are great for kids 5-14yrs.

  • Monday-Friday (Date TBA)
  • 9:00am-1:00pm (each day)
  • Ages 5-14 yrs
  • NO experience necessary! Gymnastics, Arts, Crafts, Games
  • Fun, Non-Competitive Camp
  • $200 per camper (TOTAL, for all 5 days)

 

AERIAL CLINIC

1-DAY CLINIC

This class is for tumblers that have mastered beginning skills including cartwheels, Round offs, front and back walkovers and have good body control. This class will focus on drills to perfect or learn a side or front Aerial.

BACK TUMBLING CLINIC

1-DAY CLINIC

This class is for tumblers that have mastered skills including basics, walkovers, and handsprings. Students in this class will work on front and back tucks.

TASTE OF GYMNASTICS CLINIC

1-DAY CLINIC

This one day class is the perfect class for anyone that is interested in joining a gymnastics class. They will get the opportunity to learn about each gymnastics event.
